3/20/25 Updates

We've been working to speed LiFT users through the grading process. We're pleased to share a couple new features that streamline your work on LiFT.

Rapid Rate

Got a bunch of grading to do? You can now fly through both rubric rating and numeric scoring in your Classes > Projects view. If you are making more than 3 changes, simply enable Rapid Rate (in the upper right corner) and click away through your rating boxes, add to portfolio icons and numeric scores. You will note that little red boxes will outline all of the changes you've made. When done, click on the Save Changes button, or hit <Enter> and you will be prompted to Save. Similarly, if you are scoring a bunch of evidence, you can tab from score to score, or use your cursor to move to non-consecutive entries, then click on the Save Changes button or hit <Enter>. If you are not making more than a couple of entries, you can still update individual grades without using Rapid Rate.

Expanded Artifact Preview in Evidence Table

If you prefer to do your grading in the Evidence Table, we've got you covered too. Now, when you click on Evidence, you'll get the expanded Artifact preview and be able to grade it, send a comment to the learner, move it to the portfolio, all in one place. Use the Previous and Next arrows to cycle through each entry queued up on your Evidence Table.

Expanded Artifact View in Evidence Table

And if you're not looking at the evidence, you can still update the status and refresh a Google connection directly from the Evidence Table.

Collapsing Panels

To give you the most space to see and work, you will note that your left navigation panel now automatically collapses when you click on an item in your Combined Portfolio, Evidence Table and Learners module. You can always expand your navigation panel using the arrow just under the right corner of the logo in the upper left corner. And it will automatically re-expand when you navigate to the Classes module.
