What kind of Project? Either Individual or Team

The difference between an Individual Project and a Team Project, is that all the learners assigned to a Team Project will share a common template if you are using Google Drive Templates, and all communications between learners and teachers will be shared by the entire group. In an Individual Project, templates are shared and communications happen between a single learner and the teacher (or co-teachers).

Enter Project’s Name & Description

Give your project a name and a general description. It’s good practice to provide a summary of the whole project here so your students can see where they are going, including the skills they are striving to master. With the editing toolbar, you can add formatting, graphics, links, etc. Here is a sample. Once you’re finished, be sure to click Save.

Click Add Step button, enter Step Name and Description

The total number of Steps may vary from Project to Project. LiFT recommends a maximum of eight Steps in any one Project as a rule of thumb. Again, it’s helpful to enter enough detail about the step to engage the learner. Once you’re finished, be sure to click Save.
