2/13/25 Updates

We are pleased to release this small collection of new features for you. Stay tuned for more updates in coming weeks that include a simplified navigation for student projects, rapid grading tools, and speedier load times all around. 

Learner's Combined Portfolio Detail

Learners have a new, color-coded graphical view of their Combined Portfolios! For any selected skill, they can see all evidence tagged to a skill from any class and any term, a path to add artifacts directly to the Combined Portfolio, and a chance to enter self-ratings.

On the teacher side, on the Class>Portfolio tab, we have added an eyeball icon next to the learner's name to remind you to take a look at the Learner Portfolio Detail which was released last fall. Click the eyeball to see a list of all Class Portfolios, the current Portfolio rating, and a scrollable graph of all the evidence across every Class Portfolio.

Project Library Action Buttons

You may note that there are now fewer Action Buttons crowding your Project Library. As a quick review, you have a Preview button to see how a project looks to your learners as you are building it. The Edit button takes you into the Project Builder. The Send button lets you send a Project from your Project Library to a colleague or to yourself. (If you want to copy Projects from prior terms into your current Project Library, navigate to the prior Term to find the Projects, and use the Bulk Action function hidden behind the Filter button to copy one or more Projects into your current Term.) The far right icon is how you Archive learners from Projects, or reactivate them after they've been archived.

Assign Skills Button

The button to Assign Skills has been moved out from behind the Filter button so that it is easier to find on your Classes > Portfolio page. This is how you can assign skills directly to a class, without first tagging them to Evidence in a Project.

Due Dates Now in Exports

As announced in the 1/6/25 Update, it is now possible to personalize Due Dates. Both the default due dates set in the Project Builder, and the new customized due dates are now included in Students All Details exports.
