Integrations

Integrations

LiFT offers integrations with Google, Canvas, Schoology, Microsoft Teams and/or Clever. An integration with Google enables the usage of Google Drive templates for the seamless sharing of Evidence Assignments. An integration with Clever manages all class rostering. All integrations enable Single Sign On (SSO).

Clever Schools

Due to the unique qualities of every Clever set up, it is important to set-up the Clever/LiFT integration together with a LiFT technical advisor and your school’s IT team. If your school is on Clever and that integration is not yet underway, please email support@liftlearning.com to request an appointment to initiate your Clever/LiFT integration.

Because Clever automatically manages the creation of your LiFT accounts and the rostering of your classes, there are many topics addressed in this online help center which do not apply to you and your school. Articles that don’t apply are notated at the top. Be certain to read For Clever Schools which covers these topics as they apply to you as a Clever school.

Benefits of a Google Integration

For schools using Google Workspace, LiFT offers a simple, streamlined way to assign and collect evidence of learning using Google templates. LiFT automatically makes a copy of templated Google Drive assignments in each learner’s drive, and manages the sharing permissions so that learners can seamlessly submit evidence assignments. These shared Google documents can easily be passed back and forth between teacher and learner, and teachers can edit or comment on them directly in their Feedback Window. Establishing a Google/LiFT integration is strongly recommended for all schools, unless you do not use a Google Workspace.

Initiating Your Integrations at the School or District Level

All LiFT integrations are handled by Edlink, a third-party provider. Your school or district’s IT Administrator is required to initiate the integrations, which only takes a few minutes. Please share this information with your Google Administrator/IT department.

Single Sign On (SSO)

Completing a Google Single Sign On is required for the use of Google Templates. If your learners are already using Canvas, Schoology, or Microsoft Teams, they are welcome to do a one-time set-up of Single Sign On to be able to access LiFT through the other apps. Integrations with Canvas, Schoology and Microsoft are limited to Single Sign On and do not impact any other LiFT features.

Key Takeaways about Integrations
