Evidence Evaluation

Evidence Evaluation

There are three ways to evaluate Evidence:

  • If you enabled Rubric Rating or Numeric Scoring, and assigned one or more Target Skills when you created the Evidence assignment, that Evidence can be evaluated against those Skills. This completed Evidence can then be added to a Learner’s Skill Portfolios.
  • If you enabled Numeric Scoring only, without a tagged Skill, then you can mark the Evidence as complete and Evaluate the Evidence on a 100-point scale. If there was not tagged Skill, this Evidence is not reflected in a Learner’s Skill Portfolio.
  • If you enabled neither Rubric Rating nor Numeric Scoring, then Evidence can only be marked as Completed, and does not go into a Learner’s Skill Portfolio.

Evidence can be evaluated either in the Projects tab of your Dashboard, or by clicking on the Evidence and then evaluating it in the Feedback Window.

When you view Evidence in your Projects tab, there are icons next to each piece of Evidence to indicate whether an assignment is completed (green circle with check mark), in progress (half filled circle), or not yet started (open circle). All the Skills tagged to the Evidence are listed next to the Evidence and can be evaluated by selecting a Rubric from the drop-down menu next to each Skill. Evidence can be evaluated whether it has been marked as completed or not.
