How to Grade with Bulk Actions
In addition to using Bulk Actions to update Evidence Status, or to Send Comments, you can use Bulk Actions to enter rubric ratings, or to add to portfolio.
To Enter Rubric Ratings with Bulk Actions:
- Click Bulk actions in your Class > Project page
- Select the learners for whom you want to enter rubric ratings
- Click the blue Rate button
- From the popup, select the Rating you wish to apply and then click on Confirm
- After LiFT processes your request, which may take some time, refresh the screen to see updates
There are some important limitations to this first version of Bulk Rating:
- The rating will apply to ALL tagged skills for selected students. Future versions will allow you to select specific skills to bulk rate.
- All the assigned skills need to have the same number of rubric levels. If you have tagged skills with a variety of rubric levels (e.g. some have 5 levels and some have 3), it will not work. A future version will support this scenario.
- It may take some time for the bulk ratings to appear, especially on large entries. You will have to refresh the page to see the updated ratings. Future versions will notify you when the process has been completed.
To Add to Portfolio with Bulk Actions:
- Click Bulk actions in your Class > Project page
- Select the learners
- Click the Add to Portfolio button in the bulk actions row
- Select the skill(s) you wish to add this evidence to and click on Confirm
- After LiFT processes your request, which may take some time, refresh the screen to see updates.
