This article does not apply to schools with a Clever/LiFT
integration. Everyone at a Clever school accesses LiFT directly through
Clever.
Before anyone can access LiFT, you must first create an Account for
them. Creating Accounts is addressed in the article, Creating Teacher & Student Accounts. Once you have created an account, each user – Teacher or Learner – must activate their own account.
There are two recommended ways to initiate the Account activation process:
To send an invitation to a New User, go to the appropriate
module on your Facilitator Dashboard – Teachers or Students – find the
User you wish to invite, click on the Actions button and then select Send Invitation
from the drop down menu. LiFT will send an email to that User inviting
them to activate their account by clicking on a link in the email and
following the prompts to create their password.
